Retiring in Mexico Travel Canada: Kelowna Hotels - Calgary Hotels - Collingwood Hotels - St. Catharines Hotels
The Puerto Valarta area is the second-most visited resort destination in all of Mexico, attracting 2.2 million tourists per year! Tourists love our wide open beaches, warm calm waters of the bay and the exciting life style that Puerto Vallarta offers.

Many Baby-Boomers are entering into retirement and looking for affordable opportunities for investment in a luxury tropical paradise like the Riviera Nayarit. This area of Mexico offers exceptional value, a warm climate, a safe environment and excellent modern health care.

You will notice on your mini vacation the level of services, the quality of life and the incredible value we are offering makes this an increasingly desirable place to invest and to live. The timing for investors has never been better; with home prices low and interest in the market growing, an estimated 6 million Canadians and Americans are expected to make the move to Mexico by 2015. With over a million ex-pats already living in Mexico, you'll feel right at home!
You will find the paper work process is easy for living here 6 months of the year or full time if you can. When you arrive at the Puerto Vallarta airport (or border crossing) they automatically give you a visa that allows you to stay up to 6 months. If you leave for 1 day and come back, you get another visa good for 6 months. It’s that easy!

If you want to apply for an FM3 Visa that allows you to come when you want, stay as long as you want, and leave when you want the process is simple; just like a passport application you fill out the forms, and deliver them with pictures and some identification to your immigration office. We always use the Bucerias office as it’s only 5 minutes from the development, you’ll find the staff are very friendly, helpful and the makes the process easy.
It typically takes 3 to 4 weeks for processing, and then you pick up your new visa!
